personal – seduced by the sea

"Seduced by the Sea" is a joint exhibition born out of the artists' connection with the sea, and a need to explore its beauty. The stunning abstract paintings and photographs evoke the viewers own memories of times spent on the waters edge. These new works by artist Lynda Howitt and photographer Christian Mushenko seduce the viewer with dream-like light, a graceful velvet feel, and sensual colours. The exhibition on at the Bathers' Pavilion Balmoral runs from August 4th through early October 2005.
